Default where to buy steel near Ann Arbor/Jackson

is there anywhere cheaper than Alro to buy steel. went yesterday to price some flat stock and wandered over to the 6' DOM sticks and thought twice about building my own longarms. luckily i found plate for what i need in the drops at like .90/lb, wasnt to bad 4 6' lengths of 4" wide 1/8" plate for 40+tax

alro in AA has descent prices IF you ask for leftover drops. DOM isn't cheap anywhere.

I drive from Livonia to Alro in AA for pretty much all my short order metal stuff.

I just made an order from Alro that I am picking up on Monday. They have decent prices when you purchase a larger order which I did. Like Bones said though DOM isn't cheap anywhere.

there used to be a surplus steel place down the road from alro. i think they moved to the same little road you take to get to omni source around the block. i can check for you on the way home to see if it is still there.
