Your not wider.....mine has an ifs rear axle with 1.5" spacers on each side and the front has 3" spacers each side so I am 61" wms to wms front and back...77" outside tire outside tire.

If I had to guess I would say mine is only about 4" over stock.

I realized after lookin harder at yours, im Gunna run spacers also, and I have 2.75 bs on my rims so I'm stickin out a little ways, i shortened the frame 21" but left axle where it was, I really like your Exo but the P.O. Put a ugly snorkel on mine and it's right in my way, I have a lot to do still, but I'm happy where it sits, yet diasapointed that it's no longer street legal, what did you end up doing with your steering linkages?

Mine just has standard highsteer with fj 80 tierod ends. The steering box is pushed as far forward as it can be. The axle is pushed forward do to the rear springs offset plus do to the location of my new hanger. I cut / beat the backside of the fender/ firewall back to the body mount. I have ~ 4" uptravel and the tires rub only lightly.

Cause here in alpena, anything that has a frame modified, no mudflaps, bumpers that are over 28", and nothing covering the drivetrain is like a having a target stuck on my forehead... They just have nothing better to do.

Took apart and serviced the locking hubs, also ordered new felts and koyo bearings along with new gaskets from low range off road.

I would look into doing the knuckle upgrades (tb eliminator, arp studs, 5th stud) and upgrading the hub studs to 7/16 x 20 tpi bolts while its apart. Even with 35's you run the risk of ripping a knuckle off....i have been there, saw that and it really sucks ass.

I haven't got to the knuckle yet, If I could afford a tb eliminator id go for it but its deff not in the budget, they show the fully loaded 6 shooters with high steer in every pic but never say wheather it comes with it or not. Cause for 300 I'd have good knuckles and not spend 200 on just high steer arms, also I have been pondering an upper gusset on the front. We will see where money lets me go.

Also after lookin At all my parts I'm 98% sure the PO had installed tg dirty 30's, I'll have to clean them up the rest of the way and look a little harder, but I have seen the PO had done a few things like the lockouts were in good shape, tg inner axle seal, and the old felts weren't that old or tore up. I'm happy with my 125$ axle.

I do not believe the six shooters come with the eliminator. Even if you dont do them invest in some good studs and then do the 5th stud mod...you can make the tabs for the 5th stud yourself (what I did) and its easy to set them up. I would worry less about the upper gusset and more about the ball gussets...those are cheap and to me there is a much greater chance of bending the housing there than there is bending it farther in.

If you want to go really low dollar, torque the knuckle studs the tack weld the steering arm to the knuckle in a few spots then just be sure to regularly check the tightness on the studs. Having the arm come loose really blows and will ruin your day in a hurry.
