Default 94 jimmy sfa

heres the start of my project.
torn down a 78 3/4 chevy for the axles, trans, motor, and anything else i felt i needed.

its all going to go into a 94 s-15 jimmy plans are to be done and wheeling this by summer. (if time and money permits)

parts from 78:
dana 44 4.56 gears
14 bolt 4.56 lincoln locked
th400 trans
np208 with dodge output as a sye
carbed 350
a sorry set of 36.5x14x16.5 rvt's

parts needed:
s-10 dash
heater parts
rock sliders
prolly some better tires
electric fans
high steer

far future plans:
Dana 60
fuel injected 350 or bigger
full exo cage

got the front ifs and trans taken outta the s-15 today just need to cut remaining brackets off and clean the frame. then ill start mounting the front axle.

got the rear end taken out last night. also cut off unneeded brackets from the front and started mocking up the front leaf crossmember. pics to come.

Would you be interested in a complete body w/ frame, tbi 350 and 4L60E trans. It was already converted to a straight front axle. Below is a link to the sale thread of the vehicle. We are now in the process of parting it out. We have someone interested in the front axle and tires. We are just trying to find someone interested in the complete body. PM me if your interested.

not to much has been done lately parts orders and a broken main leaf has been staling the build. but ive got the fron crossmember set up where i want it and the whole thing cleaned out. just need to get more parts so i can dial the front in where i want it.

havent been able to make much progress due to a broken main leaf spring. heres a pic of my front spring hanger. just need to make the rear spring hangers and the front should be just about done and i have a line on some rear springs so that should be in by the end of the weekend.

got the front axle bolted to the leafs over the weekend. short u bolts stalled the build for half the weekend. also got some rear spring for it so i should have those and the rear axle in real soon. then ill have to do a wieght test and instal the motor,trans, and case. pics to come tonight.

looks like a cool build though about doing this also to a blazer/jimmy. we are sfa my buddys k1500 right now fighting with getting parts must be a comon thing lol

front is completely hung waiting on u bolts to hang the rear. removed what was left of the dash. now its time to get the motor and tran together so i can put them in.

project is kind of on hold right now do to needing to change the output shaft on the th400 to accept the np208 but i started making new fuel lines for it the other day. will update again once tranny is put together.

well i decided to throw out the idea of running the np208 i built for this to build a doubler since i already had the 203. so last night i trade the 208 for a 205. now i just need build an adapter.
