Just for you Beefy;

Drove the same tank for the last 2 weeks, went 486.2 miles until I filled up (just a hair under 1/4 tank) and put in 26 gallons. 486.2/26= .......................... 18.7 city driving.. Right now I am putzing around on Hot (extreme tune) for shits&gigs.

I bought this kit from my brothers buddies company. Wickedrigs.com

As for running, it runs great.. City driving I am hand calculating around 18-20 mpg's depending on speed and how I drive.. Highway I have been getting 22-25 mpg's around 65-70 mph (on the truck read out, so most likely off a little)
^ This. And let us know how it works before and after please.

From everything I see it looks like a great engine. Up until you get to the emissions and turbocharger. Aspects of the emission system are causing the VGT mechanisms in the turbocharger to soot up and or erode. I would remove the emissions components as soon as possible, the turbocharger and its critical VGT components are much happier. Of course if you are still under warranty I would leave the emissions alone until your warranty is up.

Make sure it has the EGR, DPF Delete.

Then hack the exhaust off and put a turbo back on.

Then Put a real intake on it.

And a chip.

You'll love it.

Mine is stock and I've been thinking of lighting it on fire after dealing with the fucking EGR / DPF issues.

I have about 8k on mine since the deletes and love it.

I had the same thoughts about torching mine.

Truth. My last tank of mixed driving was 18.2 mpg.

For me it would have been the first time it caused problems. Its a gamble to do that.....but it is one I would take.
For me it wasn't the first time it went to the dealer, but by the 3rd or 4th time I said fukc that warranty.

I did this for a little while, but there was no improvement in mileage, and the check engine light bugged the shit out of me.
