Anybody know what the next apocalypse is? Let's say just for grins that the Mayan one is false just as all the rest. When is the next so-called judgement day?

Or do we have to wait for some crazed bible thumper to interpret it from a slice of toast?

Grocery stores are going to be running some wicked sales come Dec 22nd and on when no one is shopping because they are all living off of their 6 months of rations.

This is going to be a dud just like every other end of days prediction.

I just keep track of people I meet who are preppers. So I know where to go after the apocalypse for my supplies.

I Agee economic collapse is my biggest worry, never really through about prepping, but plan to prep for a few months now.

We are not preppers. However my wife is an extreme couponer, so if the end of the world comes unexpectedly we will have enough Head and Shoulders, A1 sauce and Progresso soup to survive until at least 2018.

I am prepping, but I am only buying toilet paper with coupons. I plan on using it as currency when the shit does hit the fan here in a few weeks.

I am more concerned about a attack that involves some type of EMP devise then anything a bible thumper threatens.
If the power grid went down that would cause quite a bit of chaos. At least until people figured out how to manually pump there fuel and get cash from the banks.
Still it would take months to replace all the fried electronics. Certain high population areas rely heavily on imports from other areas of the country to get food and such. A pickup in power could cause prices in those areas to skyrocket. There is also the concern on how most people in dense areas would heat there homes if something like a EMP attack happened in the winter. I could see the national guard stepping up and am sure there is already a plan in place in case something like this happened. Still the first week or so would be quite chaotic.
It is quite entertaining to point at the extreme goofballs and laugh. Still, a little bit of preparation is a good idea.

Something bad happens and I'm going to sit on the end of my dock with a fishing pole. Probably be the least amount of stress in years.
