I don't like the lap idea... You can make long runs no problem with that kind of land.
Can add brett to the point a to point b list also

Laps are sweet and all but gonna b hard to keep people on course and keep track of times and laps, handicaps for difference in starting etc. Be sweet just alot of work. So i vote for a point A to point B race, long with mulitipul people at same time. THEN also do a bounty hill either next day or end of the same day before dark. $50 buy in, fastest time/or furest distance takes all.

If you go that route, draw names out of a hat for the first course, then after each course pair the competitors up with the standings, so if there are 10 competitors, have 9th and 10th place go first on the 2nd challenge, followed by 7 and 8, followed by 5 and 6 and so on. Then the next challenge reorder according to standings, and repeat.

Or make it three or four at a time? Just a thought.

it's not that hard to add a checkpoint in the course and write down a vehicle number.

I say point A to B with extreme obsticals in between.....good carnage for spectators and not so spread out they can't watch.....build your rig so you don't need spare parts or a pit stop to rebuild it....if its to difficult, winch it so you don't break...

if it is going to be point a to b i might as well do a rock course style comp.the point of endurance is to show some kinda of skill in how you drive conserve wwhere u can and push it where you have to i could almost tell you forsure if you hit the course full throttle you wont finish its going to be tough and your skill or lack of will show at this comp.i don't want to piss anyone off but its a endurance race its gonna have laps just not sure how many but count on a 4- 5 hrs of driving.i just don't want it to be all about horse power skill is gonna be the only thing that is gonna get you threw this

point a to point b without laps will equal one thing. traffic clusterfuckjam. by now making it a hard rock course you have just slowed the race down to a crawl. with no open gaps between challenges you cant spread out the field of trucks. which will cause a constant traffic backup.

Yea those style races are def fun. Would stick closer to the 4hr mark. 4hrs is a long time to wheel non stop. Looks like i need to plan on a new radiator, trans and cooler before july then Once you have a date, entry fee etc etc stuff let me know and i can make up a flyer for the event if you'd like.
