Default B&L Truck in Warren on 9 mile nice shaft

Had a new driveshaft built the other day, B&L Truck in warren, turned it around in 4 hours for me.

Lifetime on the welds, 90 days on the rest.

Cool story, I know, but finding a good driveshaft shop can be a real pain in the ass. Local guy, willing to make any kind of custom shafts as well, I imagine turn around may be a bit slower for custom stuff, but to drop off my old shaft, have a new one built and be done in 4 hours was pretty good. Customer service was good too.

Yes, which is why I was so happy he could turn it around quickly. The only other driveshaft shop that got good reviews on here was in Lincoln Park, and I emailed the guy, and he was really quick to respond and seemed legit, Daniel got a shaft there.

But, a guy I work with recommended B&L because they had done a shaft for his mustang, and it is not "too" far from work, dropped it off before lunch and he called me before I left for home, worked out well.

Next time let me know, I can make that on my way home pretty easily--it would only be about 2 miles out of my way.

Actually this is good to know. I got a shaft from Joint Clutch and Gear which is a crazy detour to make in rush hour traffic.

Yup, drove it to work today with the hubs locked in, spins nice and smooth at freeway speeds. Also works nicely in 4wd.

Ann Arbor Driveshaft did a long travel for our race Wagoneer when we shackle reversed it. They were the only locals that would do it, but I don't know if we knew of B&L.

Joint clutch and gear in romulous can build anything you want. They built all the driveshafts for my buggy, including an intermediate shaft with a pillow block. Great guys that are gearheads too. They're also a sponsor.

Who did you deal with there?

The guys at the front desk didn't seem to up on anything but a 1 for 1 replacement when I had a shaft made for the TJ.
