Yeah we thought about that but a couple minutes with a cuttoff wheel and then a quick re-weld and I'm back in business. It's just not something that comes apart often.

It's something that can be done now that the parts are the correct sizes but at the time would have taken more time to do them again with the holes than it will to remove/weld back up. Mine is pretty much like that from a trail fix that I've since added to and will have to cut also. Been over 2 years like that. I don't put many miles on it so the pinion seal should last a lang time.

Now that I think about it, the seal will still come out as is. The ring leaves enough room to easily get it in and out.....the pinion snout is another matter though.

Agreed, Its just nice to be able to put the snout on the workbench to work on. Like you guys said, just a cut-off wheel away. Good-looking YJ!

No, but if anyone wants to donate free parts and services I'm sure he'd be ok with that, it will be going "all over" wheeling!

Making fun of thefixer aside, it is real nice having everything already done and thought out. It has made the build VERY easy.....well that and my new hoist

Yeah I don't need any sponsors... I like to pay my own way through life... All I need is good friends like Tab and Dale (Ironman Offroad) that get me the right stuff and setup for success.

Ouch, you know we're friends Jim... Just giving them some props for their help with the build. It wouldn't have gone so well without their help.

And here are the pic's, I'm very happy with our progress. I like the hydraulic steering mount that Tab designed and cut for the project.
