Thanks guys yea its was time consuming to get the rear suspension figured out but i think i got it now did all the finish welding on the axle today and welded up the shock hoops and mounts. Should start going faster now.

I started working on the front, I cut the bds link bracket apart and welded each side on the unibody and i am going to make a removable trans crossmember that will bolt in between the link brackets. I am going to make new links that will be 1" longer. got the housing and rear links back from flipper, silver on the housing and green on the links.




added this plate to the top of the link brackets to box them into the unibody better. also fixed some cracked welds on the bds brackets and welded some joints that werent welded from the factory.






mocked up the front end with original bds links that he stretched out as far as they could go and put it at full bump. we are going to move front out another 1" from here.


started setting up the ring and pinion and arb in the rear axle.

yea yea i like a clean shop but this one is just to small to have any sort of organization. Know of any bigger ones for rent?

Got the new front links and panhard mocked up. Burn them all in tomorrow morning and send them to the painter, anyone know of a good painter around here?



axle moved a inch forward at least the back of the tire almost clears when turning now looks like its gonna need some trimming on the front

It depends on what year I get it back, just kidding it is progressing nicely, i am from Three Rivers, so probably go to a small local spot at Rouch power equipment, they let people go out and play on 50 -60 acres, we are planning rocks and vallys in early may, also will get to Bumdy pritty soon also, once Rich is don I have alot of small stuff to do , so figuring at least another month

well got the underneath painted, trying to get it sitting on tires so i can wiegh it and order shocks and springs. Got it sitting on my shocks right now to get a idea on spring rates.
