The Building Of " THE TANK " Geo Tracker

My dad has had this tracker for 4yrs till I picked it up from him last year. Its a 96, auto, 4wd. The motor in it has somewhere around 2xx,xxx miles on it and let go on me last week. Since it has been such an awesome vehicle to us I didnt just want to scrape it. So I decided to give it a new life. I have decided to name it " THE TANK" because these things go alot of places for how small they are. I want to build it to be able to still be good on gas and be able to take it to the dunes or some offroad parks and have fun with it.

Plans:
rebuild the motor
2 inch coil spacer lift
3 inch body lift
get rid of the rusty rockers with some built in rock sliders
sandblast and repaint the wagon wheels black
31x10.50x15 treadwright mtr style tires
5.12 gears to make up for the taller tires
repaint it flat army green
mini spool in the rear

Can you rebuild this motor? Some of the 4 cylinder DOHC motors (quad 4) cant be rebuilt if I remember correctly.

Well the motor is out and the rebuild kit arrived yesturday. Happy V-Day present to me. lol Im not sure if I will start tearing into the motor this weekend or not as we plan to head to the Dog Party.

This jack my buddy had was badass. It would lift high enough that my front bumper would touch.
