Art Van, Gardner White, or somewhere else.

Wife wants a new sectional couch, shes tired of the "hand me down crap". I say there is better things to spend $2000 on but she has a pretty good barganing chip if you know what I mean.

I bought a sectional from Art Van. You get what you pay for.

I bought my couches from Macy's

$2000 for Sofa/loveseat with power recliners. They had a corner piece too but it all did not fit in my room.

We have a sectional from Art Van in our living room and a couch from Ethan Allen in our den. Both are nice but the Ethan Allen one is noticeably nicer, but like others have said, you get what you pay for.

We also have a custom made couch in our family room that my wife had made up when we were still in our apartment. It's much nicer than either of the other couches we have and seems to be about 100x more solid and was actually surprisingly inexpensive. That may be a route to look into as well.

http://www.bejnars.com/ is where we just bought a sweet recliner.

My couch and love seat we bought at Art Vans. They "look" really nice and expensive, but that is because I'm sure we over paid

My wife and I bought the majority of our furniture at Art Van last March when we got our house. I've been happy with all of it, though my wife may end up hating the couch since I fall asleep on it all the time and don't pay any attention to her. I have zero complaints with the furniture, just gotta deal with the super pushy sales people when you go there to look at stuff.
Since you're not far from Howell, also check out TenPenny Furniture on Grand River, they have some decent stuff for decent prices too. I got some of our tables there. Might be worth a shot since every place has different stuff to choose from

Actually we went to Value City and purchased a leather sectional with one power recliner. It has held up very well for two years with normal kid abuse to it. We have bought a couple things from Value City and they have been ok.

I got mine at big lots. It had the best consumer reports rating out of the rest that I liked, it was cheaper, and it was made in America.

We bought ours at this place. It's in Lansing but their prices are pretty reasonable.

Try furniture row in Lansing. We just got a couple tables from there and they seemed to have a nice selection.
They delivered to Gregory so maybe Hell also.

They treated me like crap when I went in there looking for a bedroom set... There was a couple sales people standing around and one was helping a customer, I asked for help and the salesman lost interest after I indicated I wasn't interested in their most expensive set (which he showed me first) and refusing their credit program... They had some nice stuff though.

I was pretty surprised how good some of the stuff at Big Lots is.

Hint: if you need to assemble it, pass.

We just got this one from Gardner White. We've had the matching couch and chairs for 2 years, got a bigger place, so we added the sectional. No reclining area, or bed, but I wasn't spending 2K either. This was a great deal for $500.
