Default Buick V6 **GONE**

I have an 85 Buick v6 just had it rebuilt 20-30 miles ago. It is .040 over with 9.75:1 compression. This was at one time a grand national engine. It has a rolled fillet crankshaft Heavy duty rods and brand new hypereutectic pistons with High flow heads. It has a brand new R.V. cam in it, .472 intake .480 exhaust. The thing idles with a nice lope. It has few special oiling tricks done to it to provide more oil to the main bearings,including a crossover tube in the rear of the engine, a number one cam bearing in the rear journal, the timing cover passage has been drilled out to 1/2" and ball grinded for better flow, it also has a stiffer spring in the oil filter housing to provide excellent pressure. It has a Holley intake and a Holley 390 carb valley pan was done away with and has regular fiber intake gaskets on it. It has GN aluminum valve covers. Power steering pump and alternator. Has advance adapter motor mounts on it. It is set up for a manual trans with the flywheel being centered and drilled to accept chevy 10.5 in pressure plate(this system works awesome) I also have a buick to chevy adapter plate ill sell with it if someone wants it. This engine is very powerful for a v6 runs on pump gas, this little thing really hump. 600 or best as i have more than 800 into it and it is basically brand new. I have 2 trail runs on it. The guy that machined it is a buick v6 expert and he told me i dont even have to break this motor in,just go out and beat it up. With all thats been done it is ultra reliable and has plenty of power. Located in Dundee.
