But, everybody is different when it comes to this stuff.

Down payment on a house. I've been sick of this apartment for too long.

I am going to Buy a Candy Bar with My big return check.

I hear of people getting back ton's of cash every year and they hardly work, and then blow the money with in 2 weeks and go right back to being out of money

I seriously can't figure out these damn tax rules. My wife and I ALWAYS claim 0 witholdings, we have the same number of kids, the same house payment...

Some years we get a sizable return, other years we owe. WTF! I hear you guys saying "I plan it so I don't owe or receive anything", but for the life of me I can't figure out your algorythm. I claim "0" so I limit the damage if I do end up owing.

Since I don't have kids, I get shafted. I have to show any/all donations to my church, car's I donated, Good Will/Salvation Army. I have to keep track of all work expenses, and any education and work related travels. It's just a pain in the ass.

We usually get just enough back from federal to pay what we owe the state.

I just got all my tax information and I am really curious as to how this will turn out this year. I was on unemployment for 3 1/2 months and I didn't have them take taxes out. Some how I still managed to make more money than I ever have. I am single with no children and I always claimed 3 which would only usually give me $500 for a return. I am now claiming zero for the first time also. I guess we will find out!

Ill be buying a few small things. Stuff to start pooring my own plastic baits: big thing of plaster to make molds, hot plate, pyrex cups, couple gallons of plastisol, coloring, ect.

Some stuff for my kayak so i can more easily do some small lake fishing this summer.

A pair of Costas, but only cause i get to buy one pair a year for 65% off.

And some maintenence stuff on my poor truck.

Oh, and one more new fishing rod.
