Default 232/258 Crank ID?

I'm building a 4.5L stroker next semester for a engine machining class. I have what I think to be a 258 but I'm not shure (kinda measured while in the block, want to make absolutely certain). Is there some sort of casting # on the crank that tells me the difference? or other means of identification? There isn't much of the engine left so a # on the block or crank is about all I have to go on.

As a side question, anyone know the valve diameters int/exh? and the overall valve height? Stem size? etc. 1988 Commanche 4.0L non-HO.
