It would be, for example, if you knew saccharin could cause cancer. If you went arond screaming that Tab soda caused cancer, its technically correct, but misleading.

News Flash: Drinking sugar water full of stimulants is bad for you. Once in a while, ain't going to kill you. But these people that drink 2-4 a day(or those giant ones that look like a quart of brake fluid), what do you think is going to happen? Same thing that will happen if you drink 6 20-oz moutain dews or eat chicken nuggets and big macs every day for lunch.

excessive carb intake for extended periods of time = insulin resistance = type 2..... it can be from sugar, breads, pasta etc.... but its carbs that cause type 2. Not just eating a bunch of food....

on-topic. Energy drinks are tasty treats that I do enjoy on occasion. Congestive Heart Failure, Hypertension, Stroke.... Caffeine is the gift that just keeps on giving! I am not frightened by articles and studies stating that energy drinks are the devil. As with most other things *IN MODERATION* you'll be fine. If you drink 4 montsters a day, you're fawked.

favorite word for 2012:

Why do people tan so much? Seriously, okay so you will look tan but you are going to look like a bulldog when you are 35??? I never got that one...

Energy drinks don't make sense to me either. If you want some energy go run around for a while. Even when I was huge I didn't drink energy drinks.

I think he was talking about them getting diabetes, from the first thread.
You can go blind from diabetes but I don't think energy drinks alone will lead you to having type 2 diabetes. I would bet they had other unhealthy factors which also contributed.

PS I hate energy drinks, so I am not defending them...

Putting words in my mouth now. I never said that if you drink the shit you will get diabetes.. I said in my friends case it was a major factor. He was drinking a case a week... Basically sense they came out and it is a fact that tons of people are drinking them. The energy drink section at any ga station is bigger than any other section. Like water or pop...
All I was doing is telling you what happened to a friend and you turned it in to an attack on me.

I drink a bunch of energy drinks during the week, but you have to delute the carbs with vodka. Then it's good for you.

Can you get type 2 diabetis from energy drinks? Indirectly, when consumed in great quantity, yes.

Are energy drinks the only indirect link to type 2? NO. You cant pick and choose which to attack. You could say the same thing about twinkies or snickers bars. When consumed in excessive amounts, it may be bad for you. Just because nobody told you or your retard friends that energy drinks specifically when consumed in excessive amounts may be bad for your health means they should be boycotted or avoided 100%.

You really are shooting for that top retard spot arent you?
