Okay not the monster lets go with the energy drinks and you said they have alot of sugar, so it must have been the sugar

Myth: Eating too much sugar causes diabetes.

Fact: No, it does not. Type 1 diabetes is caused by genetics and unknown factors that trigger the onset of the disease; type 2 diabetes is caused by genetics and lifestyle factors. Being overweight does increase your risk for developing type 2 diabetes, and a diet high in calories, whether from sugar or from fat, can contribute to weight gain. If you have a history of diabetes in your family, eating a healthy meal plan and regular exercise are recommended to manage your weight.

Thank you for letting me know that energy drinks are awful for you. Could you make a post about whether smoking is bad, I am still kind of on the fence about that one?

If you are an adult and you don't understand why energy drinks are awful for your health, you probably deserve what you get.

NO food or drink CAUSES diabetes. type 1 Diabetes is an inherited problem, and Type 2 Diabetes is a lifestyle problem, caused by eating too much an not exercising enough.

For Type 2 Diabetes, Energy drinks are LOADED with sugar. You drink enough of them and you WILL get fat. bering overweight is the main trigger for Type 2 Diabetes.

You often consume energy drinks? If YES! so beware and immediately stop the habit, because it can lead to disease, even until death.
According to a study by a group of doctors in the United States, which was released in the medical journal Pediatrics, said that energy drinks contain high caffeine, taurine, guarana and ginseng can cause strokes and sudden death. The study urged children and teenagers avoid energy drinks and sports drinks consume only allowed in limited amounts.
Dr. Holly Benjamin, from the American Academy of Pediatrics says children do not need energy drinks, because many contain caffeine and other stimulants that are not nutritious and are needed for children. Children may be more vulnerable to the content of energy drinks than adults.
Energy drinks containing caffeine are three times more than a can of cola drinks. Even some found that contain five times greater. Typically, consumers are mostly young people are drinking more than one can of energy drink, some also mix it with alcohol. Although no cases directly related to many dangers associated with drink, stimulants can disrupt heart rhythms and can cause seizures in very rare cases.
Dr. Benjamin explained recently, he saw a boy 15 years with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder who came to the hospital with seizures after drinking two bottles of Mountain Dew, soft drinks containing caffeine. “Tragic, And may you never know the effect that far. This is clearly a concern that happened today, “said Dr Benjamin. Benjamin suggests, children should consume lots of pure water to quench their thirst. If they happen to be young athletes train hard, sports drinks may help too, because it contains sugar.
Energy drinks, especially in Britain and America, many young people consumed. According to another study, seven out of 10 teenagers regularly drink of energy drinks. A number of companies that produce young people’s target market, how diligent advertising on various sporting events. A number of doctors from the Department for Children at the University of Miami who conducted the study noted that it regularly drink energy drinks can trigger diabetes, abnormal heart, makes the mood so bad and deviant behavior. “For children, also can cause hypertension, abnormal heartbeats and sudden death,” wrote a researcher.

Tell the doctors and researchers that they are wrong not me..
Fact is that the shit just is not healthy to drink. I'm sure we can agree on that.. And yes there are a lot of not healthy things.. But if you don't like my post or don't agree there's no reason to be a dick. Your doctors may be wrong and so may the links I posted and my friends doctors. No one knows. But it's something to be aware of.

I see where tile man is coming from. Honcho u state that type 2 dietbites is caused by overweight people who dont eat good and dont exercise. Energy drinks can cause you to gain weight. So from that, some might make the conclusion that energy drinks cause dietbites. But, if you can blame one sugar-filled substance, why not blame them all, like cotton candy or candy bars...???

No, he's pointing out that the OP is trying to link energy drinks as directly causing diabeetus.

When in reality, living unheathy, drinking unhealthy in general will lead (or predispose) to it.

It would be, for example, if you knew saccharin could cause cancer. If you went arond screaming that Tab soda caused cancer, its technically correct, but misleading.

News Flash: Drinking sugar water full of stimulants is bad for you. Once in a while, ain't going to kill you. But these people that drink 2-4 a day(or those giant ones that look like a quart of brake fluid), what do you think is going to happen? Same thing that will happen if you drink 6 20-oz moutain dews or eat chicken nuggets and big macs every day for lunch.
