i think he made a great choice with the coilovers.a 2.0 air shock is not made to handle the weight of the cherokee.so it will always unload and make it lean, lift, and do goofy things.that's why i said they would never work no matter how much air or oil was put in them.if they were a 2.5 air shock he could of got most of it out but they will still unload, all air shocks do.
build it how you want. it is your rig.different is good.i prase the guy doing his own work and learning as you go.lots of people want to tell you how to do something but they drop there rig off at a shop and give a credit card number...built is always better then bought in my book!

I agree but the way they are mounted I don't think anything will ever work correctly.

Won't work correctly for what? Rock crawling? Drag racing? Wheelies? Hammers?
What is correct?
Correct is the way I want them on my truck and work the way I want.
I did not mount my air shocks on my truck. They do not work at the angle they were on. They were close but not rite.
I like my suspension very soft. That's how this set up is now. It's soft and it sits up rite. Yes it has body roll but anything does with no sway bar. I like it. That's all that matters. I don't drive it on the road so none on the normal laws apply for me. I run low lock max speed o 20mph.
It works and I like it. That's all that matters.

As stated earlier, the coil overs are only slightly covering the issue you had before. You think you "fixed" something when really you just covered it up. Not everything has body roll and you certainly will have it and it will rear its head when you're on a side hill or going up an incline and the uphill front tire tries to climb a rock or ledge. What you're calling a soft suspension is called instability in the real world. With that said do I give a shit? Not one bit. Build it how you want just don't expect a whole lot of help when six months from now you realize how shitty it really is. Oh and you asked who's to say its set up wrong? Physics, that's who.
