To explain, Jims group was matched up with Renegades group by way of sign up number. Then we all lined up with the smaller tire rig in front and were strapped together two by two. We had to race across the stump field then up the hill and first ones to the top won. We had the option of stopping and unhooking before the hill or staying strapped together. That was a total blast.
The tandems were all lined up side by side and all started at the same time...

That would be me. I have to give Daryl (Monkeyevil) at JCR the credit for the build though. Only thing different from when he had it and I do now is the 42" rockers and H1s, he had 38" TSLs I believe. The rockers just hooked on everything and went where I pointed them.

Thanks for a great day on the trails Paul

I only took this pic, it was the friday morning run (all day run with Mike and Dan actually), my passangers took a ton of pic and vid I know but they havent got then off there cameras yet. Starting out this day i didnt think it was going to be that hard to get around.

This was what I saw the most of the weekend, having to follow a jeep on 42's the whole time never made me feel so small

I don't know if the winners received their awards. I got sick during the banquet and headed to bed. We had planned to give them out after the banquet.

I was simply amazed at the comp. I figured they would pick their way across the field and take maybe 5 minutes. I had no idea that everyone would beat the shit out of their junk. But, for those that did, it was fun to watch. And to those who wish they hadn't, I'm sorry. Next time we will take that more into consideration. To my knowledge, the carnage from that 90 seconds was,
1 radiator
2 brake lines
1 broken axle shaft
2 bent shocks
1 mystery clunk

I love our St Helen Scramble Area.
