This has been the best winter ever. I remember as a kid a christmas so warm I played outside without a coat, but this is really awesome too.

one of those years when it was that warm was when I got my first RC car, 1957 Chevy, cherry red. I wore those batteries down so many time's that day.

Until the "adults" commandeered it and drove it into the tire of a parked car cracking the body

Do you remind them of that each christmas? Like when you open your gifts say, "thats a nice gift but not as nice as that awesome rc car you broke."

No but I think I will start that tradition lol

Of course embarrassing my dad this year who got my mom cheap, tacky costume jewelry, and wrapped up a sliding shelf she bought herself to give to her, by buying my mom an iPad was a nice move too lol

I have one of the original models, and two of the biggest thing's it did for me

1) Reduce the amount of printouts i use. Instead of having 50+ pieces of paper printed out to bring with me on a show i now just load PDF's on my iPad. Most noteably the 36"x48" plots i used to have to print off, now all on the iPad

2) drove the amount of $$$ I was spending on books way down. From Chicago to the west coast i can usually read a novel, now I buy e-books, or download them for free and read them.

Snowed a few inches this morning in gaylord, but last week it hit 46 degs up here and melted damn near everything. Only probley 4 inches of ice and 3-4 inches of snow now. Glad I sold my sled last year but you would not believe how many $10 K+ sleds ive seen on the trails this year. Dont know how you justify making year round large payments just to use it for the 3-4 weeks of accually riding.
