this is my first jeep, was also my first ever vehicle payed for and maintained by myself. I currently have a 4" zone offroad short arm lift kit thats been in Hawkscj5 (my dad) garage for a few months now, and ever since i layed eyes on his first jeep, also a 94 zj, but his was the v8, ive had a huge thing for jeeps. i plan on redoing the back hatch, as you can see i had an accident during late bow season, but ive looked it over, and looks like something that is fixable and shouldnt be very costly to repair. i plan on painting it either black, or a jet black with some white decals. im also going to be putting a new exhaust on it, along with some new offsets and either 31's or 33's, but this is my first rig, would just like to know what everyone thinks. :)

Also, a question, im not sure if anyone would know, but a nice idea would be nice, i want to paint my jeep when the build is done, atleast the back hatch, as ill be hugely surprised if i can find one of the matching color, but about how much do people think it'll cost to paint it? and do it properly if i have all the equipment to do it?

Zj's in general are awesome. Same suspension as a tj but waaaay more room!

as for the 4" zone kit. it's a really nice kit but i hope you got the nitro shocks. they make a huge difference in ride quality. Ive been sporting my zone kit for about 4 months now and dont regret it. Only thing i really dont like is the rear cam bolts they give you for the upper's. Other then that it's a great kit for the money.

To paint it with actual automotive paint it will prabably be around $400 just in parts/materials, most people just use rustoleum and clear coat that, thay would be around $20 and look about the same

i can help you out, ive never tryed matching panels with rustoleum before though, it would be a good time to paint the whole thing black like you talked about.
