Default exhaust leak behind manifold?

ok I have this piece of crap polw truck, its not a nice truck, but its what I have. so I decide to start fixing this pos and I have a rotten pulse air tube falling off the back of the engine. the right side I got off and welded the tab shut and reinstalled. the left side has a rotten bolt head and its just a nub sticking out of the back of the manifold. The question I have is how should I plug the hole? I have the old tab and welded it shut. I don't have a way of attaching it at this point.

you could cut some threads in the hole and use a pipe plug-gotta take the manifold off though

I figure theres threads in there already, but I don't have a 1/2" pipe thread tap. It has a pipe plug at the front on each side so I know it must have come with treads. the problem I have now is this is so rusty I am afraid to remove for fear of breaking off the bolts in the head.

Ok I got it plugged. I managed to have enough room for my Mig when I had it in the air. I put a pipe plug in the hole and then welded it so it would stay in. did that on two of the three holes.
