Looks like a nice house but 164,000 sounds pretty steep for Madison Heights, considering the economy and all.

Thanks, it is a nice house. I agree that it sounds steep for Mad heights but that is the going rate in that neighborhood. Besides, I'd take less. People that pay asking price nowadays are nuts.

Here are some homes that sold in MH last month, they range between $75k (shitty house) and $245k (nice new construction):

It sucks how bad things are right now. Houses are for sale everywhere and there are like 4 forclosures right on my street. It is definitely a good time for a buyer with money though!
Good luck with the sale!

Your house looks nice. i'm actually over on that side of the state. Work in Warren/Sterling heights and I live in Lansing. Problem is, my house won't sell. It's been on the market since April. Good luck selling!

Thank you. After DeVos is governor, you'll be able to sell yours.

Default New price

Now listed with Century 21 and my realtor convinced me to lower the price to $149,900.

Thanks, but it was listed for $150,000, doesn't actually mean I sold it for that much. Good luck on your sale, if you price it right, it will sell. Most people want to get what they would have got 2-3 years ago for there homes and don't/cant budge on the price. So they are for sale for years, or untill the bank takes it.
