Default 72 International Scout II 392 automatic! SOLD

http://southbend.craigslist.org/cto/2803230874.html

Before anybody comments, I worded it for CL, I realize it's way dumbed down for most people on here.

Located about 15 miles West of South Bend Indiana. This will drive home to anywhere that doesn't require crossing a large body of water since it won't float

May take PARTIAL trades- Quality rifle (AK, SKS, Mini 14/30, AR types- in .223, 7.62 NATO, or 7.62x39) and/or a set of 4 really good LT 245/75R16 or LT 265/75R16 tires, not necessarily off roaders, just good deep tread and no dry rotting.

SOLD SOLD SOLD!!!

How many miles on the motor and how much body work is needed? How is the underneath with rust?

Not sure on the miles on the engine, the PO that swapped it in said the cross hatch was still on the cylinder walls when they pulled the heads to check it out. Oil pressure runs 25 at hot idle if that tells you anything, dang good for a Scout. Rust is mainly in the normal Scout places- upper wheel arch on rear quarter, in back of the door at the bottom of the rear quarter, and at the bottom back of the front fender. Not too major right now, those are current pics, but it's not going to get any better unless it gets some attention. Floors and rockers seem solid, it needs the 'step' body mount fixed at the back of the driver's seat, and will eventually need the two front body mounts by the driver and passenger's feet. Doors shut like they should, which is a big tell tale in Scouts, this one is still straight and not all racked from rust.

Sorry on the truck trades, need to cash out at least partly to pay for a new roof.....dang it all having to be 'responsible' and all that.

This is break even for me, sorry about the braces Guess what though, as they get older it doesn't get any better, you end up helping finance your kids til you die. From braces to cars to houses, seems like you can't get away from it!
