Screw Jeeps, RZR's are where its at

So yesterday the UPS showed up so I made myself some double shear brackets and installed these.

Today I was bored and had some metal lying around so I got out; 1.5" .095 DOM, the torch, a brake rotor, a big freaking hammer, a vice and a hacksaw and built this. I’m happy about how it turned out. I wanted something basic and light weight. I might ad a cross brace in it later, I’m not sure. I had some left over latex black paint from a darkroom project so I got out the roller and painted it black. I think it turned out pretty good.

Side x sides are a huge waste of money. 7k+ for something you can't even drive on the road.

HAHHAhahaha 7K? where can you get one that cheap? try 11k+ and they are worth more than that as you can make them street legal

I was being conservative. Not meaning to jack your thread. Guess what I'm saying is I don't understand why people sink the coin into these?

For the same reason a person would spend money on a jeep, harley, dragster, boat, or any hobby they are interested in..

sucks that you just lost about an inch and a half in ground clearance because of that bracket. Seems like if you used a flat plate and welded the tubes to the top of that you would be better off

I wasn't thinking about the forward approach side as much as the I got hung up going backwards side. It all looks great up to that point

Why is thread bunched in with 4x4 builds? Shouldn't it be in the go-kart section?

like I said I was bored...this was my first stab at it and it wasn't really thought out...I kinda built in on the fly. However after looking at it i may redesign the bottom bracket
