Default WTT 40" MTRs

I've got a set of 4 40x13.5R17 old style Goodyear MT/Rs I'm thinking about trading for something a bit more aggressive. Something in the 39-42" range with at least 75% tread. The only that come to mind that would interest me are Maxxis, IROKs, PitBulls or possibly TSLs or LTBs. Preferably IROKs. Not interested in Boggers, Ground Hawgs, Gumbos, or anything like that.

Mine are in great shape, 80-90% tread, no considerable damage(no plugs or patches), no dryrot, all hold air perfectly. There's a few very minor cuts in some tread blocks from the previous owner rubbing fender but nothing that'd even remotely compromise strength or affect function. They're mounted on like new 17x9 soft 8 style wheels, 8x6.5 bolt pattern. I'll trade with or without wheels depending what you have with yours. Willing to throw in some cash for the nicer wheels/beadlocks or better tires.

Picture shows 5, but the 5th one(also near new) has a professionally repaired/vulcanized hole in the sidewall. I plan on keeping it for a spare unless you have a set of 5 to trade.

Not interested in selling outright unless something good comes up for sale on here, but since I need to post a price I'll just say $2000. I don't need to sell these by any means and will gladly run them when I finish my rig, but seeing if anybody has something slightly more aggressive they'd like to trade for.

No thanks. Great tires for offroad but I want something that can handle street driving too. That's why I got the MTRs in the first place, cuz I plan to wheel and also drive it a lot in the summer and stuff. I'm just thinking something slightly more aggressive but still streetable would be nice if I can find em....but in all reality I don't really expect these to go anywhere. I'm gonna be pretty picky since I already have some good tires sitting here. I should've kept the 41" IROK Radials that are on Brian's YJ now. Those or 39.5 radials would be about perfect for me.

Sounds good to me....My best friend has the same tires on his Dodge(Project Cumdumpster) and they drive perfect too. I'd still love to check your rig out though, still haven't seen it in person in the finished state. Those tires are an amazing combo for on and offroad use, that's what made me start this thread. The MTRs are slightly better on the street but I think I'd prefer slightly better offroad.

Figured I'd throw this up there again. Really just looking for something like a 39.5 IROK or maybe new style 40"MTR. Might consider other options but I wouldn't count on it. If I don't find the right trade I'll just run these as planned, I don't need to get rid of them by any means.

Sorry Strangler, I'm still not looking to step down to 37s.

Where did you get the vulcanizing done? You happy with the work?

It was done before I got them, but pretty sure it was done at Scott's Tire up in Flint. It appears well done and I've heard lots of good stuff about their work.

I have 4 39.5x13.50x17 bias Iroks 90% ill trade you tires for tires if you add $750.. They ride good on road too! I would use yours on road and buy some stickies for off roading...

I'd like to have some IROKs, but not for that kinda price difference. Same size, same condition, roughly same cost new, doesn't make much sense to me to pay that kind of difference.
