Default No mousies anywhear

I just went ice fishing for the first time this year. I found out when I got bait that their will not be any mousies anywhere in the u.s this year. From what I was told the only place that grows them ( or whatever they do to get them ) is in the part of NY. that got hit by the big flood.

Its a little grub similar to a wax worm. They are both very popular for ice fishing.

Its hard to believe that only one place provides all the mousies.

They are a long tailed maggot. I like to use them bc they hold up a lot better then wax worms or spikes
