Angry Anybody remember the constitution

Anyone remember the Constitution?

The NDAA just negated every single word of it.
The govt. now has the authority to do whatever they want with you (not just indefinite detainment, but executions as well) and bypass any laws and freedoms that stand in their way without retribution or public knowledge.
Are you going to let them get away with this?

http://act.demandprogress.org/act/ndaa_reversal/

The official Russia radio broadcast compared this act to the same legislation passed during the Third Reich.
That's right...Russians labeled the people responsible for the NDAA as NAZIS.
The Patriot Act was in retribution to Bin Laden's attacks, so why do we still need it after his death?
Why do we need to "reaffirm" the power given to the govt. in solidified law?
Coincidentally, the NDAA isn't just reaffirming what the Patriot Act spelled out, but has given it a very broad scope and legality...don't believe the BS you hear.

Furthermore, I think this whole "war on terror" needs to be stopped.
We haven't made our country safer, in fact, everywhere we go we make more enemies.
It's panning out the same way that the war on drugs did.
Look at what's happening in Mexico right now, after 40 years of it.
See any less drug abuse here in the States? Didn't think so.
The war on terror is only going to get worse the longer our troops are abroad, so maybe we should bring our troops home and secure our own border instead of butting into other people's business...

SOPA is going for a vote soon, and if it passes, the internet here will be no different than in China.
Expect all sorts of sites to disappear in the future, including this forum (anyone that's downloaded a Suzuki manual is a pirate according to SOPA).
ALL file sharing websites have some kind of pirated media stored in their servers, and this gives the media industry free reign to track it down and blacklist the site permanently, without due process or right by trial.
Help fight it here:

Between the NDAA and SOPA, we stand to lose everything within a single year.
WTF guys, what happened to the people in this country that makes them not care about rights and civil liberties anymore?
Did we all turn into a bunch of mindless pansies?
Had this happened 200 years ago we'd be in a civil war or revolution.

I know signing petitions and sending emails to your congressman sounds like pissing in the wind, but these guys received 500K signatures against the SOPA bill in a matter of weeks and helped delay the hearing.
That's kinda hard to ignore.
Research these bills on the net, pass the information along to your friends and coworkers, email, facebook, or whatever, because I fear the next step is one that won't be pleasant for any of us

The liberal government in this country think that the constitution is not for these times and are going to do everything they can to dismantle and ignore it. The liberal judges are doing it as we speak.

Redmon Barbry put it best: "We the people have the right to expect our elected representatives to read, comprehend and master the bills they vote on. If this means Congress passes only 50 bills per session instead of 5,000, so be it. As far as I am concerned, whoever subverts this process is committing treason

"There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws."

Face it. If "working within the system" could halt tyranny, the tyrants would outlaw it. Why do you think they encourage you to vote, to write letters, to talk to them in public forums? It's to divert your energies. To keep you tame It will not be stopped unless we are willing to risk our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honors to stop it.

I think of the words of Winston Churchill: "If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not so costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival. There may be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no chance of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves."

I love my country as much as anyone, I've put my life on the line for her. The US government is much like any government they don't care about our individual freedoms. They care about your vote's,taking your hard earned money and making themselves richer.
