Default direct drive torque converters?

anyone use one of these? How well do they work?

A circle track goodie. What do you need a dummy converter, direct drive for? May need some kind of clutch pedal too.

not from experience, but i would think you would be doing one of the following:

1. shifting into neutral all the time
2. breaking things all the time
3. constant burnouts
