Default v10 f150

I thought i would share my latest project. 2002 f150 took out the stock 4.6 trans and transfercase and swapping in a v10 4r100 trans and transfercase out of a 2002 f350. I later found out that engine and trans must have been a old stock ford thing because the engine and trans ended up being 99.

Alright.... what am I missing? The Cummings into the Chevy- that made sense to me. This? This may require some explaination.

The cummins chevy was my personal truck, this is for a customer and he is a ford guy that loved his truck but wanted more power for pulling his trailer full of quads.

better hurry up its almost done just waiting on stainless u bends and aluminum u bends to build the exhaust and air intake. Full stainless tig welded exhaust.

The biggest part of this project was definitely the wiring. There were alot pin differences between the v10 pcm and the 4.6 pcm and of coarse adding 2 injectors and coils, and the v10 engine harness plug is at the front driverside of the engine and the v8 is at the passenger rear so i had to extend the engine harness 3' lots of solder and heat shrinking. The truck is currently running and i have allmost everything working except the speedo, waiting to get the truck on the road to figure that one out. Looks like the two pcm's operate the speedos differently.

I got most of the exhaust done today just have to build the tailpipe tommorow. 2.5 off the manifolds into 3 single magnaflow race muffler into a magnaflow dual chamber muffler and 3.5 tail pipe, all stainless.

I used a sycrowave 350 at my old job then used a lincoln squarewave 255 that lincoln was sweet it had digital read out pulse control and all the bells and whistles id love to get ahold of one of those, but now it sounds like miller dynatsy is the only way to go if you got $$$$

I'd settle for a dialarc in my own garage I do like using pulse though.

Got the rest of the exhaust done today. I was quite impressed with how it sounds quiet at idle and a nice deep v10 bark when you blip the throttle.

Nope not done yet, been waiting on parts to hopefully fix the vss compatibility problem. You will have to ask the owner for burnie pics when its done. lol
