Default RUSTYS offroad reviews please

i am about to order the rustys offroad long arm 8" kit because it seams like the best bang for the buck. i started searching reviews online and there was alot of bad ones. i thought they were a good product from what i herd but reading seams to tell a diff story. anyone use this lift or any other products and what are the thoughts. i was going to order kit less crossmember since it seams cheap and wont work for me without mod so i will just build one. please give me your thoughts on there products and thank you

I have a rusty's long arm kit on my g/f's xj

I think she's running about 8" lift so far the rear leafs have blown out the bushings and then they broke after I replaced the bushings

But if your the original buyer they will replace the leafs.

The front seems to be working fine she DD's the jeep on 35's putting a LOT of highway miles on it driving from Cadillac to the Soo.

how long ago was it you had the original springs? rustys did have a batch of bad springs get through once but was real quick to replace all of the faulty ones ive seen. that was 1.5-2 years ago if i recall correctly.

I hear nothing but good things about these guys from guys that used to run Rustys.

IRO

It's what I'll go to if I have any problems with the lift on my jeep.

+1. The have very nice parts. I have their double shear adjustable track bar and hack-n-tap sye kit. Can't wait to upgrade to the long arm kit!

i have 3 lifts form rustys.......no real problems with the 2 that are on my xj's. the front springs on my cj sagged but the 38's are a lot to ask of 2" wide springs.

never had a problem with any of rustys products

i have run several rustys products...i and everyone i know who runs them loves them...
however i have seen some issues with spring bushings but i think it is a suplyer problem not a rustys problem......
their springs are super flexy and dont seam to sag much at all from the several cherokee and grand cherokee's and the couple tj's that i know that run them....
when i go taller on my tj i will be running rustys springs to replace the ones that are already on mine (already lifted)....
nothing but good results thus far....

They are ok. Still using there springs, but my track bar broke...and Ive heard ofnthat a lot. Control arms are crap IMO also. I would buy certain parts but get a good jks or re track bar.
