I'll go with 276hp. It's gonna make tons of power but lose lots of it in the drivetrain. Hell, just throw the tires off your tow rig on it and you'd push it over 300 no problem.....but I know you're looking to tune it in with the race form, not just make impressive dyno numbers.

im going to go with 402hp to the ground. mine put out 250 with fat 38" tires. if you cant break 350hp with all those mods you need to get a new engine builder.

Oh, it needs a tune. Numbers will be a by-product.

Sticky 39s sure as hell aren't gonna help anything. I love LS motors and their power potential but I also expect the drivetrain and tires to soak up close to 50% of the power. Isn't 20% power loss considered normal for a street car? Even that would put him over the 500hp mark at the crank based on your prediction, which would be pretty generous for "just" heads, cam, injectors, and tune. If he can break 300 on the chassis dyno I'd say he's doing pretty damn well with his combo. The 4L80 will soak up more power than a 60E would, the Atlas I'm sure takes a lot to spin, big driveshafts and axles, soft tires, etc, etc. It'll FEEL like plenty of power and do what it needs to, but I don't expect the numbers to be all that impressive looking.

Here's a pic from last night.

Last night Mike was testing the fan override on the new fans and radiator. Holy crap, this thing had better not run hot with the amount of air the fan was moving. It was enough air to knock the flat bill hat off a bro.

he has 5/8ths wheel studs, the tow rig tire combo was brought up. they were just going to change the dyno load to compensate for tire size if he had to use smaller tires.
