My only carnage from windrock (the slider, body damage was already there).

I have been suspect of these and i guess that was a correct thought. That being said i hit ot really dam hard....as in fell off a ledge climb and landed on that spot with entire weight of the truck against a rock so its not like it simply collapsed. I have some cage work planned and it already involved rebuilding that part out of 2x2 .188 wall square tube so it will be fixed soon.

the ballistic truss is bad ass! Barnes4wd.com has some good link brackets for cheap.

Weighed it yesterday.....3840 trail ready with no doors or occupants....needs a diet plan lol.

Also ran the pit trash shootout with it....finished 4 min back of the fastest times of the day. Considering i played it safe so as not to destroy something and made a couple little driving errors (my first comp) i was happy with that....i could have taken a second run and cleaned up the errors but i said screw it and left with a working rig.

The truck actually worked way better than i expected....it could use more uptravel and some better bump stops.....but the biggest problem was again the dam steering!....in the tight twisty parts of the course the pump could not keep up and i would over drive the steering....i am sick of this crap....full hydro and better pump here i come.

Really excited to do more of these type races in the future!

Also in looking around you can buy some better, name brand coilovers for not much more money so i think i will do that.

Its been sitting in the garage ignored. I had to toss down nearly 2k for new tires and rims for my tow rig so unfortunately the rear links probably won't happen . As of right now i have to fix the cage and a blown axle seal....also gonna get a fuel cell set up....something i have to have before the links can happen anyway.

I am also really wanting some different tires....something that grips better in the rocks....hopefully my current set sells so that can happen

Went wheeling on some private property.....some sandy climbs and mud which had me a little nervous since both require some power.....which i don't really have.....truck worked good though....never struggled....only damage was a leaky caliper.

This thing is driving me nuts.....every since i have had it it has had a warm start issue.

What it does:

-starts fine cold
- runs fine all temps
- starts fine when warm if shut off then immediately restarted
- if the engine is warm and you shut it off then let it set for more than a minute or so it will start, but unless you pump the gas or hold it 3/4 throttle or so for a few seconds it will start to sputter then die like its out of fuel......attempts to restart will be met with it running for a couple seconds then dieing. Eventually it will start and run long enough for you to pump the pedal then it will run fine.

It never has any issues while running, no hesitation, no stalling, no missing.....it runs pretty decent.

Its a stock 22re, stock fuel system, new filter....i am at a loss....i have checked most all the simple stuff and it all seems fine....thoughts?

Is it a carb motor or EFI? Sounds like fuel boiling out of the carb bowl

Efi....i thought it was vapor locking....a friend of mine has the same setup only carb'd and his does it but removing the gas cap fixes it.....but that has no affect on mine.

It was nice meeting and wheeling with you.

How much fuel is usually in the tank when it happens?

Do you think your problem could be fuel pump. Alittle bit of a long shot but is the pump getting hot and not building enough pressure or something like that.

Fuel level does not seem to matter. I need to buy a fuel pressure tester.....at this point i am thinking that is where my problem is
