During my initial phone conversation the guy was all about the fact it needed to be returned and warrantied....now it's just excuses and lies. He knew from day one i had 40's and wasn't phased one bit.

The thing that angers me is them repeatedly saying there is no visual damage. That is a blatant lie. Yes, it is very minor....but even to a novice like myself it jumps right out....shit all you need to do is run your finger over it and it will cut you where the edges are chipped off.

Got the new locker installed today....worked out good didn't have to change pinion depth or reshim backlash...fit great exactly as the old carrier did.....works great....both tires pull till the truck is hopelessly buried in the snow lol

Gotta find a different master cylinder....currently running a 10+ camaro unit.....it fits in the vary limited space i have, stops the truck awesome.....but the brakes are constantly dragging....i don't really know why.....every thing is adjusted properly but it just holds mil to moderate pressure on the brakes all the time.

I am really at a loss as to what to put in its place.....i have almost no room to work with

Wasn't wanting to drop that kinda coin if i can avoid it. I may just go back to a Toyota cylinder and deal with the spongy pedal....i would rather not but i don't want to spend a ton of money right now since i may need to change again when i swap the motor

That's a possibility.

I just hate using aftermarket stuff like that that costs big $$ when i truly don't need it. The truck stops awesome now, pedal is great, everything you could ever want....except it only releases ~90-95% of the way. The camaro uses a long, goofy push rod which meant i had to build an adapter....i am certain that that's where my issue is....it's not all working together just right for some reason.

If i could find something that was similar to the camaro cylinder in size/specs but don't use that big long push rod and is a OEM piece i would be golden

i had something simular on my nissan happen. the brakes werent big enough to have the hydralic power to push themselves back to being totally free. i fixed it by switching to bigger brake calipers (4piston/2piston instead of 2piston/single) but i know this is less common on trucks than cars to switch out the brakes.

Put a master cylinder off a "1 ton" Toyota T100 on it....it fits in the space i have, bolts directly to my booster and stops the truck good....pedal is a little mushy buy it stops good and fully releases so i'll take it.

Really not much to pics of lol.

Motor swap won't happen till next winter, unless the 22re blows up before the which may well happen lol.

I keep gathering parts...only real big ticket items left are a harness (going to buy a full new one rather than have the junkyard one modded) and radiator/fan setup.

I do need to make a trip to the junk yard to scavenge some parts....anyone know of a self serve yard with a good selection of ls powered vans?

Went to bundy hill yesterday to try out a few things.....Grizzly locker works great. You can tell it is a little more aggressive than the spartan as the front end wants to push through turns a little more but it's nothing bad...very happy with it. I also had cut my rear bump stops in half to try and help keep it from bottoming out while running around at speed and to help keep them from hitting ans pushing the truck over during articulation....seemed to work....rides way better and seems very planted. The rear suspension is still way stiffer than the front but there is not much i can do till i link the back. New bead locks work sweet too....tires hook way better at 6 than they did at 10.

5 minutes in i buried it in a trench full of snow

The aftermath.....we had a rough end to the day

So to load your rig you have to drive over the ramps after there filpped up?

Yes. We just strap the ramps down so they can't flip and use a second long set of aluminum ramps to load / unload....its not perfect but it works fine. It's my buddy's trailer and if i remember correctly it was gonna be a big chunk of change to get another 5ft of trailer to avoid having to do this, and this is not the trailers primary purpose in life (farm trailer).

I forgot to mention this.

I purposely drove down some really steep stuff sunday and tried to stop....stopped the truck and held it just fine. It also held all 4 wheels locked while i drug my truck and make shift wheel stops across the parking lot while trying to winch my buddy's rig onto the trailer.

Gonna call it good.

I'm a fan of any 4x4 Toyota rigs and your truck is pretty dank. What year is it?

I desperately need a spare tire....having no luck finding a decently priced used one (matching or not) and since Interco refuses to build new LTB's i was kinda stuck. Well, last week i got bored and decided to email Interco customer service and see what they had to say about getting me a new tire. The lady responded right away that the 40" LTB's in 15 snd 17" rims are headed for production and would be available by june....however the 16" like i have will not be produced again do to low demand. She then offered to run a national search for the tire i needed....fast forward to today....i got an email from her saying she as found a new 16/40-16 LTB for 200$ plus shipping. Needless to say i am pretty happy with that.
