Laser cutting Ti is fun. It is even more fun to watch a rookie use oxygen as the assist gas to cut it.

I lived in garland, which is just outside of Dallas, for a bit. A little dusting of snow and they act like it is a national disaster.

I love tig welding ti, the welds look amazing. If I did more of it I would build a purge box though.

My dad is looking at a 535 combo. He's sold on the safety. Loves that it's on top of the receiver versus an 870.

How do you like the Mossbergs compared to Remingtons? I have no experience with Mossbergs.

We carried the 590A1s in Iraq. Never had a single problem with one. Always worked and never broke. Very very dependable. This particular one isn't a good choice for hunting though. That's why I'm getting rid of it... so I can pick up a hunting set up.

Mossbergs are ugly as sin but they go bang every time. If I were buying a new pump gun it would be a browning bps. They also have the top tang safety, not to mention the fit and finish is well beyond that of a Remington or Mossberg

I've been looking at the Winchester 1200 and 1300s a lot. They seem to be one HELL of a shotgun for very little money.

I'm hoping to sell my 590A1 for just enough cash to buy one of those and a Marlin Model 60. Both older and used of course.

NYC Takes Guns
"The New York City Police Department is taking aim at owners of certain shotguns and rifles," Fox News reports, "telling them all long guns with a five-round or more capacity must be turned in, altered or taken out of town." Letters were mailed to about 500 people on Nov. 18 telling them they could either modify their guns, surrender them to police, or permanently move the gun out of the city. And you know how many long guns are used by gangs in drive-by shootings. The reality is that the Second Amendment doesn't say anything about how many rounds your gun carries, only that you can keep and carry your gun.

6 cups of coffee I'm fine. Anything over 8 cups in one sitting and I have to empty my bladder what seems like every 20 minutes. If it wasn't for that I would probably drink 3 pots a day.

I don't know what that has to do with anything.

shortly after I turned 12, my dad bought me my 1300 combo (syn stock, field and rifled slug barrel, and full chokes) for <$400 new from the local bait shop. I've had this gun 11 years, and probably have 3-4000 rounds through it. No problems whatsoever, just getting broken in. I can rack it just by throwing my right hand with the release pressed. I should get the barrel reblued, and/or the rest of the gun refinished, as it's starting to get shiny from all the use. I like the matte, and I don't want to pay 200 for nickel/boron or hydro dip.

I shoot it just as fast as my buddies with their semi autos, it's lighter than the sx2, and a hell of a lot lighter than my wife's Remington 11-87 sporting clay or my dad's remington 1100 trap.
