It look like 3 years for led's to break even. My electric bill is $60-$80 a month. I am thinking more air drying clothes and led bulbs can get me pretty close to my target. I ha e outside lights that are on more than any other so those will be first to get replaced.

Keep in mind also that some maybe all led's can get quite hot. This will lead you to changing up certain light fixtures. Any light fixture you have that you tend to keep on for a period of time should not be a closed up type like those bowl fixtures.

What about outside lights? I have 3 that are the motion detection type that dim when on and get bright when you walk by they never shut all the way off untill he switch is flipped. They have glass around the bulb.

But... thanks to my 90 year old spine... I am currently laying in 105* water in my bath tub drinking Wild Turkey 101.

A hot tub or a huge jacuzzi tub is going to be a necessity when I buy a house. Shit works great for unlocking a fuckered up spine.

Don't have a sad Dave. It's almost fixed. I know what works to fix this unpleasantness quickly.

Not sure. Not sure how diodes hold up to constant heat. I just played it safe by replacing certain fixtures that had no venting for heat.

Besides... Gunner is laying on the towel right next to the tub keeping me company. I just wish he would stop farting. Makes it difficult to drink Wild Turkey 101 when you keep laughing.
