No. He sure seems to care more about handouts to people than getting this country into a profitable nation and getting out of debt.

I need to get mine scheduled. I either need to wait for Gina to finish training or find someone to drive/pick me up

Me on drugs is a sight to see. last time I had teeth removed, they had me on laughing gas, and I ran into the wall when I got up. Then tried to talk with gauze in my mouth the whole way home.

My reflex to blind pain is to start swinging and my dentist knew it. He trained as an oral surgeon but decided he wanted to do general practice so he could work with kids more. I had four impacted wisdom teeth and he took them all out at once. Gave me four valium an hour before I went in and then gassed me. He had to stop twice to tell me to stop laughing as he was breaking those teeth apart and pulling the pieces out. I was GONE.

I didn't even need the vicodin he gave me. Absolutely zero pain afterwards. Very little swelling too. I have a high pain tolerance but that wasn't even a factor. My older sister will cry for 20 minutes if she stubs her toe. When she had all four of hers taken out at the same time it was the same result. Didn't even need pain meds.

The first four extractions prior to braces, just laughing gas and numbing shots.
Doctor had to tell me to stop trying to talk, so I told him to stop talking to me. I was fully conscious, but just DGAF. I like how they sit there and ask you questions while they are smashing teeth and ripping them out.

I have good money invested in the equipment for my salting operation and the material itself is being sold to me between $90-135/ton. My customers, my fellow small business owners pay good money and are happy with my service. They pay for this service taking away from their profits and their tenants profits so their properties are "safe".
Why has society made it okay for someone to slip on snow and have a sleezy lawyer make a case of it because they got a boo boo? Why is that person not called what they are, a dumb ass for not wearing shoes with good tread? How have people become so damn stupid that there is a warning label on everything?
We are a sue happy nation. Someone wins a settlement (free money) for something stupid. That insurance company is a business and has to recoup that loss by raising everyone's premiums. I don't blame them. My insurance increases every year because of this shit. So does every business owner's policy, so does everyone's auto and home policy. Businesses pay for services such as treating a half inch of snow to save themselves from a careless person suing. This is just part of doing business I suppose. This is another expense that causes the mom and pop shop to close down. We wonder why businesses move overseas so we have slogans like "buy american". I get it, I support it too.
We need to wake up. There is so much scum and entitlement plaguing society. I don't think a politician or law can change this people need to change this.

Im sleazy then. I had a settlement from my cycle accident. But here is a little about it. I was not at fault in accident. Cycle is not no fault anyway. At emergency room, found leg broke ankle crushed.
Next day the other drivers insurance contacted me but never said that they were responsible for bills. My health insurance, cycle insurance refused to pay or be responsible for bills. I contacted the other drivers insurance and they admitted they were responsible. But only paid minimum amounts on some bills. Legally I was never suppose to see or hear about a bill. But they were sent to collections. The insurance industry , and Heath care providers had a law suit, against each other. About reasonable and customary pricing. This continued even after all parties knew who needed to pay bills.
Then I was told I'd never get back to 'normal'. The insurance company, then started to investigate wither this was a pre existing condition. Seriously.
And the other driver refused responsibility. So I had to go to court. I got there and it was not on the docket. I called officer, he found that she had gone in at end of business day before court and paid ticket, admitting responsibility.
After 5-6 months of Stress, I contacted an attorney. During the dep. the other driver stated I was the thud she heard as she accelerated through the intersection. When asked why she went through the red light she stated she thought the light malfunctioned. When asked if she saw the motorcyclist she said she had. I took a settlement that I and experts knew would not last my life time. But I didn't trust a jury against a cyclist. My settlement was not a lot of money but I did get life time medical for ankle.
The accident was in 1994. Now fast forward, 2013. I have put off surgery for bone spurs, didn't seem to help. Had many other medical issues, ankle seemed to go down hill too. So I went in thinking it was time for replacement. Even though I don't want one. This Dr offered fusion, if that didn't work then I'd be forced into replacement. Now most ortho's and surgeons are arrogant. But he was very confident that I'd have a good long life in fusion. So I went with fusion. Over the 19 years I avoided dealing with the insurance as much as possible. It was never easy to get coverage or reimbursement. The same is true for this last surgery. I think the majority of people that get a settlement are like me. There are some that get press or are outrages. But for me,mine didn't and won't ever compensate for what I had. Paying for Dr, when unable to work or care for one's self is not full compensation.
I also was not at fault when struck on a tractor in 2005. I have a huge lump on my upper thigh. At the time didn't feel I had any lasting problem. I waited then went to Dr. 2 Dr felt it was nothing. So I didn't do anything, it has always bothered me. When I had my fusion it interfered with my nerve block. 3 Dr thought it was outrageous that it was not removed.
I had/ have no insurance. My church covered the first Dr visits because I was at a Church function. This lump is interfering with my PT on ankle. Numbness pain in leg. So I went in and had it checked. Not cancerous and I see the surgeon again next week to see what's going to happen. I also called my church to see if insurance will cover it.
So I guess I'm scum and plague. In hind sight:
I only wish I'd have listened to the attorney the first time and got one the second time.
And if my Uncle dies from his cancer I will be with the rest of my family when they go after his original Dr who refused to do a bone marrow test because he didn't think it was leukemia.

Gas? What gas?

When I had all four of mine pulled, they just gave me a shot of novocaine and started yanking. Last one they had to break into 4 pieces and the shot was wearing off. Meh, wasn't that bad. Ate steak that night.
