Mi works will pay for your CDL training, plenty of places hiring in your neck of the woods. What's holding you back?

I would receive a genuine Star Wars Chewbacca costume and a quality video camera. I would be on YouTube, dancing at the mall in full costume.

Company paid training can be a huge mistake. Go to your local mi works and talk to somebody, they can proably get you training for "free" localy. You dont even have to be unenjoyed. Then after school most big comanies will still set you up with a "driver trainer" for 3-4 weeks of on the jov training. This pays $250-$400 a week depending on who you go with. Signon bonuses are a good way to luer in drivers, and come with strings atached.

Edit: are you sylvania ohio or michigan?

X2 Strings are always attached to a sign on bonus ! And the company paid training has strings attached as well.

This time of year always makes me wish my grandma was still alive. There are a lot of other "possessions" I would like but grandma tops the list.

I think usxpress still does company paid training, that's who I work for. Kodiac went through covenant.

just curious whats so bad about PAM? and thanks for the tips i do appreciate them

what would be the the preferred company to go with? Im not trying to be greedy and get the highest paying gig, but the most rewarding and reliable job.

My father used to drive truck and i used to ride with him a lot as a kid and loved it, hence why im looking into driving truck. I just wanna get my own house one of these days and not be so damn tight on cash for bills

Pam is the essence of a big corperation. You will be a number, nothing more. If your not a team driver you won't get shit. For the drivers the most reliabilty is in deadicated accounts, Pam has very little focus on deadicated runs.
At usx we still have the cheapest shittiest equiptment, and the trucks are setup weird. But usx is trying to communicate with drivers better, focuses on deadicated runs, with better home time for drivers, and my disbatcher knows me by name and sight.
