Question Your opinion about my kids soon to be ride.

Should I go back to stock axles, 355's, and 35's
or stick with the 3/4 tons, 513's, and 40's?

My daughter will only have about 3/4 of a mile drive to school.

Tia.

Depends on if you want every hillbilly who likes BDMTs trying to bang your daughter or not.

I'd think the 35's may be a little bit safer, but if she actually has her heart set on running it with the 40's, that is pretty cool.

That is a tough decision for sure. Not positive what I'd do for my own daughter when the time comes.

Either way, your daughter is going to have a cool first set of wheels.

If you're going to go back to 35's just sell the current Jeep on 40s and start over.

You're going to need AT LEAST 4.10s for that trans to have any chance of not running retardedly. I ran my 98 with 3.55s and 285s for a while until I could swap in a built pair with 4.10s. It was annoying as fukc on the highway, got shittier mileage due to not being in the correct position in the powerband, was constantly in and out of OD, and even got hot and spit fluid out the vent one day (which subsequently coated the entire rear of the Jeep) when I was trying to hold 70 in a strong headwind uphill.

If you do this, plan on another AW4 soon.
