I have ran the 4dr rear leaf pack from an explorer in the front on my first gen. Granted it was a 4.0L but I had a pretty big bumper and winch on the front and it drove fine and flexed good.

What are your plans to attach the leafs to the axles with the cast wedges on the 44?
