2.5L, stock axles and 36" Irok's? Did I actually read that right? Holy crap, I thought my 4.3 on 35's was a dog.

Good luck with the build. It will seem like a whole new rig when it is done.

Not as hard as it is dumb if you're already running multi port fuel injection on the 2.5.

Sorry, this was my idea of a monster. My old trial rig next to a Jeep with 5" lift and 37's.

You need to climb under your monstrous jeep with a 10mm wrench and adjust the linkage on your t-case, or get a t-case linkage drop bracket.

I think mine was a 13mm but I'm with him...I had the same problem after my t-case lift with the drop bracket.

Humm my tcase never went down only up maybe half an inch with my custom crossmember, the 4lo some how goes to far into 4lo... Im not just some jackass I build fix and wrench on all my own shit...i just feels like its spring loaded and pops out ive adjusted the linkage before & it didnt make much different and sometimes it hard to get into 4low....ive taking the linkage off before and put it 4 low manually and it popped out after I shifted from 1st to reverse.....i may pull the tcase for an inspection this winter

If it feels like a spring popping it out then it is out of ajustment.

I could be wrong on the bolt size, in fact, I am almost 100% certain that I am wrong and you are correct.

who said anything about which direction you moved it? You moved it, it needs to be adjusted......jackass.

Of course depending on how long you left it popping out of 4-lo you may have done other damage as well and simply adjusting it may not fix it any longer.

well i used the jeep today winched out my buddy who was stuck in a 2 wheel drive ford......but yesterday i took out my transfer case outta of my 99 suburban (246) tow rig the rear tailshaft bearing only had 3 of the 6 balls left in it and the plastic inner race had fallin out, anyone who has ne doubt about tearing their t cases apart with ne mechanical experience, its not that hard....IMO.... hopefully ill be able to work on the jeep over christmas break i think im going to build a homebrew bumper i got a cheap bender and a bunch of tube left from my cross member, my bender wont make a nice 45 it kinks it, but i do want a pre runner bar, so i think im going to make one like this ^ ne one got pics of what you got?

if i put some gussets in the corners......i will be cutting the hood down sometimes tooo because my tube fenders are my bump stops? ne cut there own before i do mine did u you just cut to the first line?

I have 1 3/4 and 1 1/4 dies for my bender. Bring me a six pack and I will bend you one if you bring the tube.
