Well, the wife named it...............

"Optimus prick".............from the "Trans-fender" family.

............I'm thinking she didn't like spending all the money on it lately.

I think I will go with "Optimus Prime" instead.

Got it up to 60 mph today..........still no wobble.

I drove it up to the Crazy Horse tonight, for Jeep night. It did well. The motor is running real smooth, and even kind of quiet. I think I'm going to like these tires with this power plant.

The more I drive it, the better the wheels and suspension seems to work.
I really like the MTZ's.

I need to do a 40 or 50 mile trip with it.

...........spent a little time tonight, raising the radiator, and working on the fan shroud. It should be ready for Saturday.

Max psi on the sidewall of the MTZ is 35. I currently am at 30 and it still seems awfully stiff for the street. Do I dare run this tire at 20 psi on the street like the old baha's in order to get a more smooth ride.

I run my mud terrains at 20 on the road, I'm to lazy to go from ~5 to ~35 most every time I drive it.

Does anybody see a problem with this?

The push rod tube is stuck in the hole that it punched.
Do I replace all the rockers, or just this one?

Can you tell if any others are wearing into the rockers? Any sign of heat at the rocker arm where the push rod is? I wonder if trash got in the lifter/pushrod keeping it from oiling the rocker??

All the other rockers on that side look pretty good, nothing loose. The rocker doesn't look discolored at all. The pivot washer does have a sharp edge though. I'm guessing you are probably right.

You gonna be home tomorrow afternoon at all? I might be up that way and I could stop by. Do you have my oil at your house?
