With the space between the seats I don't see how you are cutting out 5" of the body.

In my Bronco its a tight fit for the console I have in between the front seats and it looks like the gap between your seats is bigger than mine.

Not bashing, just curious.

I can show you pics of how mine looks if you want.

I agree, I am confused as to why it is so wide on the interior. Again, hard to hold hands...

My seats are 23" wide so that is 46" for the both of them. The space appears to be about 12" between them in the pics so that would put overall width at 58 which would almost fit in a stock jeep. How wide is an eb compared to a jeep?

Keep in mind he is refering to outside dimension. The doors and door frames on your stock trucks are 5" thick each, aren't they?

Just about that, yes.

Makes some sense.

Still looks like the space between the seats is a bit much to accomplish that but I see they are not welded in place. Just something I noticed and got me wondering. I think I have about 8-10" between my seats at most and my seats don't look that wide.

It looks close and I am sure some adjustments will be made as progress is made.

Carry on

Who cares about the seat space, I sold this project last week...
And yes I installed the trolling tower before I sold it.

Ok in all seriousness, good eye firehawk....the interior distance is actually about the same width as a stock Bronco there will be some taken out of the door/fender thickness. It is 61" to the outside width of the tube.

In the other pics the seats are just sitting there and after being mounted they are not that far apart. Plus with a stock bronco the seats will set closer together becasue of the thickness of the body panels. my panels will be notched around the tubes so they mount nearly flush to the actual tube. Thats where most of the narrowing will be made, which is nice because I wont loose much interior space.
I dont think it will actually be the 5" I was thinking, which is fine with me. the inside dimension of the tube work actually is lining up to be almost spot on of stock, so at least it will keep Mr Green farther away from me...lol
There has been some progress made I will try to get some pics soon.

Rear seat leg room.

The rear quater is getting stretched 11" should give me 115" WB.

The transition from rectangle tubing to round tube. (just for Mr. Green, Im still thinking about running the rectangle tubing all the way to the back...)
