Default "Sketchy" the S-10 gone truggy

Figured I would start a build thread of my junk. It started life as a 2wd s-10 that got partial stripped down and some parts sold off it. This was to be built on a budget so a lot of the parts where stripped from my old wheeling rig(94 GMC S-15 Jimmy) that I stripped down and scrapped.

When I got it there was no trans or bed on it. I put a 4wd 4l60e in it hooked to a Dana 300(for now). A 14 bolt with disc brakes replaced the rear end. Its still riding on the stock S-10 leaf springs that have been moved forward a little bit. When I moved the leafs forward I removed the rear of the frame that extended past them. For the front I had a Dana 44 from the Jimmy set up with high steer and the same gears so it went into the front for now. Its held in place with a pair of XJ leafs. I have a Dana 60 that will be going in it later on.

I built a small bed on the back to store stuff in while wheeling. I have been slowly working on it a little at a time. I have wheeled it a couple times and every time I do the body keeps getting rougher and rougher. I decided that I am unable to have a wheeling rig that has body panels on it so I will be removing them and replacing them with some tube.

This is what I started with.

I will be posting pics here shortly as I get them uploaded to show my progress so far.

Still got it also. I am currently 4 linking that front and rear with air shocks. I am planning on using those King coilovers I got from you on the front of the S-10 when I swap the 60 into it.

Here is a link to my flickr album if it works.

Thanks, I will start one for the TJ also. It has been a real slow build so I wasn't going to start one till I was farther along with it.

Right now it has a 14 bolt in the rear and a Dana 44 in the front. The 44 will be coming out and be replace by a 60 that I already have. I am planning on 3 linking the front and putting a set of 16" travel king coil overs that I have on it when I do the axle swap.

Yeah actually I do...I don't have the cash for them though. If you can find something that I have that you need in trade I would take them.

Removed a lot of unnecessary parts on the front end. Planning on shortening and narrowing the front some and adding some more tube to it. I am also swapping in a dana 60 via a 3 link setup with a set of 16" travel King coilovers.
