Default 3.8 swap questions

can i put a 3.8 with a distributor out of a 1994 thunderbird into a 1994 mustang that has a 3.8 with coil packs if so what do i have to change thanks for any info you have

You can, but it's not worth the cost. You will also need the computer, wire harness, ignition module, new plug wires, and an ignition coil. In short, the entire top end electrical will need to be swapped over.

Are you wanting to do the swap to advance the timing? Making it easier for maintenance? What is your goal?

blown head gaskets on the coilpack motor found a really low milage cap motor for a good price just thought it might be an option
