1996 Ford Explorer- New Price.

I have an 96 awd v8 5.0 liter Ford Explorer that has 250,000 miles on it, and still runs really strong. Its dark green with grey interior which is extremely clean. It does have rust in the typical Explorer spots, but the floor is real solid. It has a 3 inch body lift with a torsion twist and rear shackle, and has 33's BFG All Terrains. Power windows, power seats, air doesnt work, the condenser is out but i have it so it can go back in if you wanted, the heat does work really well. It has an electic fan with temp gauge and switch, new rotors, steering rack, ball joints, swaybar/swaybar links, fuel pump and brand new shocks in the front and air shocks in the rear. When I got the truck it didn't have a trans, so we picked one up but im not sure the mileage on it. It is out of a 2000 Mountaineer, I heard the clutches are supposed to be better but not sure. Still shifts great, never slips or drips. It does need wheel bearings, and cvs so you can drive it home but it shakes after 55 when you hit bumps. It was my DD until i recently got a Jeep so the Explorer needs to go, and that is the only reason Im getting rid of it. Its a great, very comfortable truck and I got around 15-17 mpg.

As it sits, I'd like between $1500-$1800 for the truck. No trades.

I only have 1 picture of the truck, I will take more though. If you have any questions call 313-618-6785 and ask for Alex. He can either take more pictures for you or give you more details.

hey just a simple question. I picked up the same blazer as a winter beater, and was wondering if you know where the 3 inch body lift was bought from? Thanks

ummmm. its an explorer. but the bodylift i put together from parts. they dont offer one for these. you have to buy a ranger body lift and modify it.
