Default So I was cutting down a tree...

and it fell the wrong way..Oops

maybe I should explain. I tried to use the high winds in my favor yesterday. rigged the tree with a strap and come along so as not to have it hit my barn. I asked the wife to spot for me and tell me when the wind was cranking good since I was standing behind the barn. pre cut the tree to a proper snap point and waited. when it cracked loose it went east instead of north. layed right down on my junk yard crushing everything in its path. made it a mess to cut up but its down now.

as you look at these look at where the chip piles are. the tree had squashed the duraliners flat to the ground and crushed the single milk crate that was under it. the fence took a beating and I spent an hour nailing boards back on. the one pic shows how close it was to the barn (about 8 feet). last year it tore a hole in my roof rubbing a branch over the shingles so it had to go.
the one pic that shows the crushed wheel thing is the winder handle on my old motor home engine hoist. I still use it to clean under lawn mowers

I agree. Lots of room for more carnage. At least you and the building are fine.

You have seen "way" dumber stuff posted then someone cutting a tree down and hoping the wind would fall it in the direction they wanted?

You really are a retard aren't you?

Why did you cut the tree down in the first place? The tree is the only thing that made that shat-hole look good!

I've driven by the waterford truckers yard, yetti's yard looks worse.

I'm also starting to think the waterford trucker might be smarter than yetti too.

I slept on it and trying to play 40mph gusts in your favor to try and drop a tree where you want it still seems like a horrible idea.

I'm just glad you didn't squish any of your critters...
