Default 800 mile trip.... What do you take with you?

im taking a trip from Muskegon, Mi to North East, MD (yes its a real town) and im just wondering what everyone would recommend dragging along parts wise? things im planning on taking already is:

spare tire
2-3 u joints
2 qts oil, ATF gear oil (pints) cooler full of drinks and gallon or two of water
tire plug kit
OEM crank pos. sensor
lots of fuses

possibly change the fuel pump before i leave

can anyone give me some other ideas of what they would take? or common issues that jeeps see on a long trip?

I usually don't bring spare parts on a road trip unless it's to wheel.

But I do bring a small toolkit and a spare tire. And snacks and drinks.

Make an "Oh Shit' bag. It's getting a bit cold out there, so try a space blanket or two. Some flares wouldn't hurt either.

Power inverter, microwave, cooler (stocked), extra cloths, laptop (already has tons of porn) and kleanex.
An 800 trip isn't too bad and I don't work on the semi I drive so no tools needed.

I would think that if you have a vehicle that will possibly use 2-3 u joints you don't want to go 800 miles in it

what Suta said... maybe find the issue for the wobble requiring the U joints. As for the drive, I drive from Annapolis, md to Holland, MI more then I want to. Also as said above get a AAA card and get the RV or gold package. It is good for 150 miles of free towing per 24 hours up to 4 or 5 times a year. that is worth the $150 a year or what ever it is going for now a days

your not overlanding through south america. take oil and coolant if you feel the need and hit the road. you should already have warm clothes with you for this time of year.
check air pressure on all tires including the spair.
