Default Ford 9 truss.

I'm try to figure out what style of truss to put on my 9 I'm building.

I see a lot of guys putting them along the back side and I'm not to sure how effective those can be as compared to the standard truss across the top.

So what have you guys done or seen done.

I'd do both, back side and along the top. May be alittle over kill but it looks pretty cool

This is what I was thinking actually, probably wouldn't belt as much but it would look nice.

Also do you think a truss that spans across from spring to spring would be over kill? Or stick with something like ruff stuffs? I'm only planing on running 35s .

Damn nice build, for sure a little over kill for my build. But I like the top truss, that's what in thinking for mine. Minus the link tabs of course.

That is what I was picturing in my head, but couldn't remember where I saw it. That is what I plan on doing for my rear axle.

Here is the rear truss on the 9" that Monkeyevil made. It held up to him on 38s and now we'll see how it holds up to me on 42s. Eventually when I link the rear, I'll probably end up adding a little more truss to the top as well but I'll leave it like this for now.
