Well Mt Pleasant college kids usually go for cheap and shitty beer. I don't understand why when Mountain Town Brewery is right in town and has a ton of excellent beers.

I have a 4-pack of Final Absolution in the fridge, those were being saved for today, 236th Birthday of the Marine Corps!

It's actually not that hard to find at all. Several places that come to mind:
-Meijer in Howell(corner of Grand River and Latson) sells all 4 canned varieties of KBC. They actually have a great beer selection.
-Jonna's Market in Howell at the M-59/Michigan Ave usually has at least 1 variety on the shelf. Last time I bought it there they had Widowmaker.
-At Highland/White Lake border the party store behind Walgreens at the NW corner of M-59/Duck Lake Rd intersection had some KBC last I checked. Party store called The Wine Basket a couple miles north had a few varieties a year or 2 ago also.
-Party store on Milford Rd a mile or 2 south of M-59(just north of the John Deere dealer) had at least 3 different flavors when I was there last.
-Party store at the corner of Davisburg Rd and Dixie Highway in Springfield Township has Pickaxe Blonde.
-The party store across from the fire station on M-59 in White Lake(right by Kohl's) had Redjacket the only time I've stopped there.

Ok so I might be a little obsessed with KBC I blame it on the time spent at their bar in college the first couple years they were open. Plus being in the offroad club with the owner's daughter led to it being the beer of choice at plenty of parties

Lots of party stores that carry a decent selection will take requests too. So if there's one that you frequent try talking to the owner, they might order some for ya.

I woudn't call Final Absolution or any Dragonsneeze brews great. Most of them are good. I have brewed better Belgian Triples the the FA. Copper Canyon has some decent brews. Some of their seasonals are very good. Founders still brews the best beers I have had anywhere. I will be drinking their Imperial Stout tonight to tune up for league tonight.
