i run 50/50 filtered atf in my 01 psd, ran it all summer with stanadyne and the half and half mix, no problems and increased fuel mileage, you have to run some sort of lube addiitive because fuel actually has more lube quality than atf, pumped it out of a 15 gallon bucket and ran it through a 10 micron filter and a 3 micron filter, the 10 lasts about 100 gallons and the 3 micron has lasted all summer, i dont plan on driving my truck this winter and have since converted back to straight diesel for storage and geling issues. truck seemed to run a little better and got better mileage on atf, it does smoke more just as a warning. just my 2 cents and my experience with it

Lots of info on the diesel forums about running 2 stroke in them. Pretty common thing to do.

I ran 2 stroke oil in my '89 IDI, made a big differerence overall when they lowered the sulpher content in the fuel. the injectors and pump ran quieter and picked up a little mileage as well.

I have not had my Turbo PSD long enough to even add anything to the fuel yet, never heard of using ATF, dont know about that. 2 Stroke oil does work though.

I'll have to do a bit of research on this.......
